Where did you receive your training?
I graduated from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, MN in 1997. After school I trained under the top stylists at an Aveda salon in Minneapolis for one year. Since then I have been to advanced training with Aveda in London, Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco and London, American Crew in Colorado and also five trips to Bumble and Bumble in New York.

What inspires you?
I get inspired everyday by all of the creativity in the salon
What gave you the desire to become a professional stylist?
I have always loved going to a city and having the whole experience of getting a haircut and being pampered. Now I love treating others to that.

Where did you receive your training?
I went to the Butte Academy for Beauty Culture but my real hands training came from my assistant program at Capelli’s in Bozeman . I Also did some wonderful Wella Trend Color classes out in Seattle that really helped mold my style.

I love love love the Surf Spray for that tousled bohemian beach babe look.
What inspires you?
I love celebrity styles and trends, they change so much its fun to find different looks instead of the same every day.
What gave you the desire to become a professional stylist?
I have worked in the beauty industry since I was 15 and love every aspect of it, being a stylist just fit for me and I love my career.

Bozeman, it’s my home away from home!
Favorite bad hair moment?
Taking some bad dreaded up extensions out and finding glitter and bobby pins stuck in it, it was hilarious!

My baby boy “Kourt” he is my lil gift of love!

I received my training at The Academy of Hair Design in Wenatchee, WA. I took advanced cut and color training at the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in Seattle, WA. I also have color training in Goldwell and Paul Mitchell.

What gave you the desire to become a professional stylist?
My mom, she has been a stylist for 30 years. Growing up I loved watching her and helping her at the salon. She loves what she does even now and I think thats awesome! I hope to fallow in her foot steps.
